ENTRANCE/ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
All applicants must have a FAA Form 8610-2. Please bring two original copies of FAA Form 8610-2 for class enrollment (They must have original signatures, copies not accepted).

PROGRAM OBJECTIVE:
The program objective is designed to expand the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of the experienced aviation technician. Individual instructional blocks provide aviation maintenance technicians with the fundamentals necessary for a career in aircraft maintenance and repair.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
The Aviation Maintenance Certification Program provides a basic foundation on the principles, fundamentals, and technical procedures in the required subject matter areas necessary to achieve certification as a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant technician.

National Aviation Academy is dedicated to the success of our students. Included in tuition is the commitment that if a student fails any FAA written, oral, or practical A&P exam after completing the NAA course work and while following the provided techniques, NAA will provide additional instruction and resources for up to one year. (Additional Oral & Practical test fees may apply paid directly to the FAA authorized Examiner)


Please Note:  Aircraft Mechanic Oral & Practical Tests are in addition to this two week intensive course. You need to make arrangements after completing the program to schedule these certifying tests with a Designated Mechanic Examiner (DME). Each Applicant must coordinate with a DME and schedule an oral and practical examination. NAA will assist with coordination of a DME; please refer to our local DME contact list.
